We are always looking for people of any age to join our friendly Club, so why not contact us. Preparations for the 2012 Season are already well under way. Members will make you very welcome and will always give any help you might need. The Club is holding an 'OPEN SESSION' on Saturday 28 April, commencing at 2.00 pm. If you are interested, do come, and meet the Members who will be on hand to chat, and/or help you to have a try.
If you would like to come along to the Club any time from the end of April to the end of September to have a look, please feel free to do so. Look at our ‘Fixtures 2012’ menu to see when we have a home match, for instance. Additionally you’ll find the Bowling Green in use regularly during the season in the afternoons, evenings and weekends. There is plenty of seating around the Green for spectators. On a warm summer’s day you could be relaxing as you watch a game of bowls, or playing, if you decide to join us. Visitors are always welcome.

Club bowls, mats and jacks are available for beginners to use. New bowlers are encouraged to take some instruction, and coaching sessions can be arranged, and you will always find other bowlers prepared to offer guidance and encouragement.

The season usually begins towards the end of April and finishes towards the end of September. There are friendly Mixed Matches every weekend, Saturday and Sunday, and on weekdays too, all against other local clubs.
The Club also competes in the Chiltern & Thames Mixed League, as well as the Bucks Cup/Plate, which is a County competition for Men, and our Ladies compete in the County’s Vi Trundell. Both our Men and Ladies take part in the Top Club Competition.
There are also internal Club Competitions, which members can choose to play in, if they wish. These are open to all Club members, and are played throughout the season, culminating with the Club’s Finals’ Day in September each year, and presentation of Trophies at the Annual Dinner/Dance & Presentation evening, usually in October or November. There are a number of external Competitions and Gala Days which Club members can take part in. Details of these are generally posted on the Notice Board in our Bowls Pavilion and on our website page.
